MINDORA - Mental Health Support Study Project
Students often face mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, and stress, with barriers such as financial constraints, busy schedules, and stigma limiting access to counseling. This project focuses on designing a mental health app for students in Canada, offering accessible features like virtual therapy, meditation tools, and stress relief activities to address these issues.
USEK Library Mobile Application Design - User-Centric Approach
My master's thesis involved creating a user-friendly mobile app for the USEK Library, emphasizing accessibility and usability through a user-centered design. The final product featured a blue color scheme and a clear information presentation to boost user engagement.
CICanNavigator - Educational Tool - Hackathon Winners
This case study showcases a two-day national hackathon in which teams from colleges across Canada worked to improve the user experience of an educational tool. As part of the Fanshawe College team, we focused on making the platform more inclusive and accessible for learners with diverse digital skills. Following the Double Diamond framework, we conducted heuristic evaluations, developed personas, and redesigned key sections. Our project was selected as one of the winning solutions for its user-centered approach and impactful design.
